1 Procedure Change regarding "Athletes ID"

In the early information (on the Team Invitation), we have informed that athletes are not required photo data for their ID. But after some discussions by FIS and the Organizing Committee, it was determined that athletes ID also shall require their photo on.
Therefore, please note that athletes also need to send their photo with the prescribed application form by Email when submitting the Team Entry.

2 Request of "Sending a copy of Passport"

The Organizing Committee had decided earlier that athletes will be asked to show their passports and take a copy of it at the registration to confirm their qualifications to participate in the Championships. But for more smooth operation during the registration, it was determined by some discussions with FIS that athletes are kindly requested to send a copy of their passports in advance by Email or FAX.

Preliminary Team Entry

  • Time-Limit:Thursday October 30th 2008
  • Required:Preliminary Team Entry
  • Note:Fill out your arrival date in Japan and departure date from Japan as well as the address of
  •  team representative and the team size, if possible.
  •  (For your transportation and accommodation)

Provisional Team Selection

  • Time-Limit:18 days before beginning of respective FIS world Championships
  • Required:Entry Form (ICR Art.217)
  •  Traveling Information
  •  Photo Data of Team Officials and Athletes
  •  A Copy of Athletes Passport
  • Note:Fill out your exact information on "Traveling Information". It is necessary for us to arrange your accommodation (room allocation) and transportation from the airport to hotels.
  •   For team officials and athletes, the photo is required for the ID card. Send individual photo data together with "Entry Form" by Thursday February 12thwithemail. In addition, if the photo data has not been sent in advance you will be requested to be taken a photo at the registration counter and it will take time to issue the card. We would like you to understand this and we appreciate your cooperation.
  •   * The file name of the photo data must be your own name.
  •   * The photo must be full-faced, no cap, no glasses, no background.
  •   * The size of the data must be 320×240 pixels or more with a portrait format. If you are not able to send electronic photo data, please send a photo in size 4×3 or more to the Organizing Committee by mail.

 

Please note that teams are kindly requested to send a copy of athletes passports to confirm their qualification, together with above photo data.Thank you for your cooperation (For more details, see Invitation).

Final Team Selection

  • Time-Limit:24 hours after the last FIS world cup event before the respective Championships
  • Required:Entry Form (ICR Art.217)
  •  Traveling Information
  •  Photo Data of Team Officials and Athletes
  •  A Copy of Athletes Passport
  • Note:Fill out your final team information correctly including changes from the above 2, Provisional Team Selection.

Definite Entries

  • Time-Limit:1 hour before the draw
  • Required:Entry Form (ICR Art.217)

Where the Documents should be Submitted

Please send all of required entry forms and photo data to the address stated on the invitation.
